Personalized Treatment to Straighten Your Smile
Invisalign® involves a detailed planning process. The first step will involve Dr. Trulove taking digital impressions of your teeth. Using advanced computer simulation techniques, he will use these impressions to design a series of aligner trays. The software will forecast the gradual movement of your teeth, and our treatment team can even show you what your teeth could look like after treatment!
Our laboratory will fabricate your aligners according to these designs. The trays will gently align your teeth and reposition your dental arches as needed. Each aligner will have a slightly different shape, and you should begin a new aligner approximately every two weeks. You should only remove your aligners to eat and brush your teeth. You should also clean the trays as instructed, especially after meals. Treatment time can vary, although it will typically take 18 to 24 months. Just as with other forms of orthodontia, you will need to wear a retainer after your treatment is complete.
